Musical Theater 2

Individual expression takes center stage as performers delve into their artistic abilities. This level of performance offers a unique opportunity for individuals to showcase their talent and versatility through captivating solo numbers and dynamic small group numbers. Solos allow performers to embrace the power of their personal agency and let their individuality shine as they bring a song to life, displaying their vocal range, emotional depth, and stage presence. Meanwhile, duets and small group numbers provide an incredible chance for collaboration and chemistry between two or more performers. 

Students will learn how to self direct and craft a performance that honors the intention of the songwriter(s) and captivates their audience. We will discuss modern musical vocal techniques and why great acting is always #1. Whether it's a powerful ballad or an upbeat showstopper, this class offers an exhilarating platform for artists to express themselves creatively while honing their skills in storytelling through song.

This class is designed for individuals who have completed Musical Theater 1 and are ready to advance to the next level. Exceptions for prior training and age can be made following an interview with the instructor.
