Expanding on the skills learned in Beginner Film/TV Acting, students will tackle more complex and emotionally challenging scenes. They will be encouraged to perform both cold readings and memorized/prepared material from actual screenplays and teleplays. Each student will have multiple opportunities to perform as on-camera actors as well as off-camera readers. Actors will observe their peers and engage in giving and receiving feedback on specific on-camera techniques, script analysis, and naturalistic acting. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of recorded auditions for personal reflection and potential material for an on-camera reel. Instructors will provide personalized feedback to help students gain confidence in front of the camera while acquiring essential audition and performance skills. This class is designed for individuals who have completed On-Camera Acting 1 and are eager to advance to the next level of on-camera learning. Exceptions for prior training and age can be made following an interview with the instructor.
