Description

This advanced and elite group of film actors will work to develop high-quality material for their reels and submit auditions to agents, filmmakers, and casting directors with the goal of gaining experience or securing paid work in the world of on-camera acting. Students will learn how to find real opportunities for film work online and will create a resume. They will also practice lighting, mic-ing, and filming effective self-tape auditions for submission. Additionally, students will be encouraged to support one another by frequently acting as scene partners and readers for auditions and submissions.

 

Subscribing to a membership in any of our advanced companies—on-camera, acting, musical theater, technical theater, or design—grants an artist access to all three. Company members enjoy special benefits, including discounted access to our studio and on-camera facilities, borrowing privileges from our music and dramatic literature library, and reduced rates for our productions and classes. Members are often invited to teach a class or workshop to other company members, as well as lead or guest-teach ongoing studio classes.
